Possible Planet Radio £40K win

Does anyone know if Planet Radio ever call winning entrants over the weekend? I am asking because I received a 'No Caller ID' call on my mobile earlier. Unfortunately I did not get to my phone in time, and I am kicking myself wondering if it may have been from Planet regarding the £40K Breakfast Challenge competition that ended on Friday 5 July.

I have checked their website for a winner announcement, but didn't see it.

I an probably just being stupidly hopeful here. Knowing my recent 'luck', it more than likely was just a spam call! :-(

I won last year and it came up with a number think it was a 0845 number of something similar. When I googled it , as I missed the first 3 calls it came up with Planet Radio. I don't think it sounds like it's a winning call but keeping my fingers crossed for you x

I don’t know how much their notification methods vary, but from the few people I’ve seen post about winning these big money comps that end on a Friday morning, they’ve all said they were called that same Friday morning and not long after the comp closed. They said they had missed multiple calls before they picked up and in one case after missing 10+ calls (all by Friday lunchtime) they were left a voicemail from someone from the radio station saying something along the lines of “they had exciting news so please pick up the phone when we call again” etc.

I won £5000. Couldn't believe it! They called me about 30 mins after the competition had closed so was on the school run!

Congrats on your win! Did you enter the competition via the free entry or paid entry? Out of curiosity i am wondering if the free entries ever win the cash comps???

Yeah someone won £23k on Free Radio's Cash Register using the free entries, it's on page 2 of this forum.

Yes I won entering online for free. Did the maximum amount of entries and entered it about 30 mins before it closed x
