Hi all,
After some advice....I had and iva and ccj in 2010, both off my credit file.
Will NatWest accept me for a mortgage?
My wife already has the mortgage with them in her name and we want to add me to it. We have 50% equity in the property at the moment.
Thanks in advance

There is not enough information for anyone to answer that.
If Natwest/RBS were part of the IVA then probably not.I am a Mortgage AdviserYou should note that this site doesn't check my status as a mortgage adviser, so you need to take my word for it. When did the IVA end?Adverse credit
We consult credit reference agencies to look at credit and bank account conduct.

You could always remortgage away to a different lender and then go on the mortgage yourself. Its been a long time since your IVA/CCJ so I'm sure there will be a competitive lender willing to accept you.
Historic adverse credit can be a minefield when it comes to mortgages, so it would be worth your while taking professional advice and getting it right first time.I am a Mortgage Adviser
