SO, I'm sure you can ask for cash but of course you would have to go back to the store, presumably customer services thought they would save you the trip.0

If you paid by card they will refund it to the are they took the payment from. I have had a purple of stand offs over refunds myself and had to accept it going back onto my bank card.0

This afternoon I found a stash of toothpastes and toothbrushes in one of the bathroom cupboards! Some of the sample toothpastes I gave her back in the 1990's. There's also a large number of bars of soap, bottles of handcream and body lotion, mostly all given as presents from friends.
DM managed a shower this evening, first one for almost three weeks. I'm not sure who's more tired after it! Apart from that it's been a quiet day.0
