I recently was dealing with a mortgage broker that has taken nearly £1000 and now disappeared is there anyway of getting it back. He is on the FCA website. He said I had an Dip and that the property I was going for had a valuation on it but turns out nothing had happened and he just taken our money and now losing our dream home.

If the person is regulated, you would/should have received paperwork for who to contact if you have a complaint. If not, speak to the FCA and they will point you in the right direction.
The alternative would be to take the broker to small claims court, but whatever action you take will not get sorted overnight.I am a Mortgage AdviserYou should note that this site doesn't check my status as a mortgage adviser, so you need to take my word for it.
