Any good offers on Guinness? :rotfl:0

Seems to tie in very closely with the similar Tesco and/or Asda offers...redsquarelady wrote: »They keep stopping and starting the offer for some strange reason0 -
I think most supermarkets are doing 3 packs of beer/lager for £20 now.
This is Asda's selection, 2 packs for £16 or 3 packs for £20:
Carling 18x440 cans
Carlsberg 18x440 cans
Strongbow 18x440 cans
Boddingtons 18x440 cans
Stella 20x284 bottles
Fosters 18x440 cans
Kronenbourg 20x300 bottles
John Smiths 18x440 cans0 -

Easily the best current deal on Guinness is at Asda, though not listed above:
3 packs of 15 x 400ml Cans of Draught Guinness for £20 = 63p per pint
This has been discussed a lot on HotUKDeals and while there was some question as to whether the Guinness was part of the 3 for £20 offer, it has been confirmed as working as recently as yesterday. Note, this is in store only and the cans are 400ml and not the more usual 440ml.
I think next best is at Morrisons:
2 packs of 12 x 440ml Cans of Draught Guinness for £16 = 86p per pint.

I saw 8 cans of Carlsberg for £4 at Lidl. The cans were 440ml and 4.0% alc.Hoping this year is better than the last.

True, but the Becks and most of the other beers on 2 for £16 at Tesco right now were 3 for £20 up until Tuesday, so the price has gone up quite a bit.
It's worth noting that online at Tesco at least, Carslberg Export, 20 x 275ml bottles and Carlsberg Lager 18 x 440ml cans are both still on the 3 for £20 offer. There is a code available for £12 off a £80 spend on the vouchers board and apparently this works on a £50 spend. This means that if you get a £3.75 delivery slot, you can get 120 bottles of Carlsberg Export for £31.75 delivered. This works out at 96p per litre, 55p per pint, 26p per bottle.
