Mortgagekey brokers

Hi! I’ve just been speaking to MortgageKey brokers about a possible remortgage - I have some adverse issues on my credit history, high levels of unsecured debt and some late payments but very good equity available in my property (remrotgage would be to 55% LTV, good income etc) and wanting a debt consolidation mortgage. They seemed pretty confident they could help me. Does anyone have any experience of this company?

How on earth do you plan to pay any mortgage as well as the huge amount of debt you've detailed in previous posts?
A Subprime lender with sky-high interest rates (along with existing debt) is a likely recipe for future bankruptcy.
Did you get any joy from your request for £2.5K in Bank Charges?0 -
Unsecured debt would be consolidated in the mortgage payment and so paid off in 10 years as interest rate and monthly payments much lower than currently paying.
I’m perfectly aware that easy to run up debt again - if that’s what you are alluding too but we definitely won’t be doing that - it originated from home renovations which is now complete and I’d never put myself in this position again.
If we had asked our current lender for a remortgage at the outset for home
Improvement I think it’s pretty likely the answer would have been yes but we have to live with the fact we did it the wrong way round. Big mistake which we are paying for but looking forward now. I’m interested if anyone has used MortgageKey as it’s always best to get a better idea of how well qualified people are to give advice, in my opinion. They do appear to be CEMAp qualified and have good ratings on trustpilot but just wondered if anyone on here had used them.
I’ve also been following the debt free wannabee advice as you suggested Moneyineptitude and have made lots of improvements which we need to sustain regardless of remortgage.
If you have any other positive suggestions I’d be glad to hear them.0 -

If you want "qualified" advice, you will of course have to pay for it.0
