A bit of a sideways look at this but why not use the Data Protection Act to challenge Lowell. You have the right to have your data corrected and you can escalate it to the Information Commissioner if you are not happy with the answer.

Not seen this legislation used in this way, but then it is just over a year old. Lowells may be doing something they shouldn't under DPA 2018 but only the ICO can confirm.
Doesn't cost you anything and makes them do the running.Unlike some here, I am not omniscient. If I am wrong correct me. I won't take offence.
