Update!
So I DID have a default registered! I messaged around with my report and took your advice and it appeared the next morning. It clears from my report next year, is satisfied and is only a small amount but to be honest, I was just relieved to know what's been holding my credit rating down.
Since then I went to a different mortgage adviser, got a MIP with Kent Riliance and have had an offer accepted on the house I wanted!
So glad I didn't give up.0
