Thanks Ian, shall bear that one in mind when i come to filling out why i got into money problems!! Do you think 'i got pregnant, lost my job and had a baby' would work or just be a classic!
As Ian said, a perfectly good reason. The OR will have heard many reasons, and some of the reasons crop up time and time again.
The only time they raise an eyebrow is if your reason for debt was the 3.30 at Cheltenham;)
The first time we said hello, was the first time we said goodbye. As the angels took your tiny hand and flew you to the sky-you forever left us breathless. RIP my beautiful granddaughter :(

    Hi meech,

Sorry I missed your question on the 20th; not quite sure how that happened,  not that it matters because you've had some sound advice and suggestions.:D

The only thing I would add is don't be tempted to waffle; answer the questions honestly, but don't elaborate. People frequently "shoot themselves in the foot" by feeling obliged to fill a silence and give away more than they should. That's not a problem if you're 100% whiter than white, but I think most of us have done something that would probably be best fogotten.
