I need a strong mop

Can anyone recommend a mop for me. I keep breaking mine, they dont seem to last and I dont really want to clean the floor on all fours all the time.
I have tried the flat ones that you pull a lever on and the tradional ones you squeeze out in a bucket, but they keep breaking.

I'm having similar problems, they're all much too flimsy.
I've decided to try a kentucky mop, when the head wears out you can replace with your own rags - you can buy just the wooden handle here http://www.chemiclean.co.uk/mopping-systems.htm but I think you can buy the whole thing to start off with. I suppose you could buy replacement heads or make your own.
I'll be investing in a metal mop bucket to go with it, the plastic buckets are useless... don't throw the string away. You always need string!

Try getting industrial style one from Makro or similar places0

For work, I buy a mop from an old fashioned hardware shop....sometimes the handle and mop are separate...
The mop head is quite thick to start with and can be tricksy to wring out, especially in a plastic bucket. But they do last well.
And yes, a metal mop bucket is really the answer.....virtually everlasting.Official DFW Nerd Club - Member no: 203.0 -
I can never wring out mops successfully, they always seem to stay too wet0
