Hi,
I am just in the process of purchasing a property, with the main house it has a workshop its 24 foot long and about 11 foot wide I have no idea how to turn this space into something that could make me a small income, I dont want to just fill it with stuff and the driveway is for my car I don't need to park in it.
any ideas ?

This article about social storage may be a bit out of date, but has some ideas

Also sites like parkatmyplace also cover garages.
Be careful about letting anyone use the workshop for business purposes as you could run into planning and business rates problems. But electricians and plumbers often need to store long lengths of pipe and conduit. Canoeists and skiers might be a market too.
If you want to be more involved in a moneymaking activity, breeding small animals - rabbits, ferrets etc?A kind word lasts a minute, a skelped erse is sair for a day.0 -
