Number of Entries to Unlimited Comps

Hello,

I was just curious what everyone's method is when it comes to competitions with unlimited entries. Obviously you could hypothetically sit there non-stop for days and enter thousands of times, but that is not at all practical.

Does everyone have a limit to enter or avoid them altogether? Would appreciate hearing people's view on this, as personally I hate seeing unlimited entries allowed to comps. I feel like there will always be someone who will enter a crazy amount of times and mean nobody else has much of a chance, so I don't usually bother at all.

Problem with unlimited entries is that it's easy to write a script (or a bot) to enter for you, I'll maybe enter once every now and then it if it's a C2W, if it's a "proper" competition I'll enter once, green tick it and never see it again as it fades into the oblivion of page 10+

I'm still pretty new to comping, but I tend to avoid unlimited entry competitions because I have no idea how long some people are willing to spend sat there entering again and again!

I might enter it once or twice just so my name is in the hat. Competitions that are technically unlimited entry but limit people to entering only x number of times per day are different, I'll usually keep an eye on those and put a daily entry whenever I get the chance.

to be honest I enter once, there's too many bots out there to compete with so i'd rather spend my time on other competitions
