Tax Code

My son's current Tax Code is showing as 1168L/0, I have checked the current Tax Code which is 1250L.

Any idea what the /0 on the end means before I get him to ring the tax office please?

(Why is it that grown up children still come to parents to sort a problem :o)

The 0 could be week/month 1, ie non cumulative. How long has he been in this job? Does he receive any benefits in kind?

Thank you for responding. He is a Postman so he does get his uniform but nothing else that I am aware of, this payslip which he presented was from December 2018. He claims that his current payslip is identical.

The 0 would suggest a cumulative tax code.
Obviously cannot say if the tax code is correct but on the details given suggests the possibility that this code has not been automatically increased at tax year start. How long has he worked there?
