Funnily enough the streetview shows it had just been sold in October by another agent, and then it's back on the market two months later. Wonder what made the buyer want to move it on so soon..
Maybe they moved in and decided the rooms were too big.

It does look a bit weird from the back doesn't it? On the whole, however, it's a jolly nice house I think. Could do plenty with the garden even if it is north facing. Do keep us posted if you decide to view.

Does this house own the "side garden" where it's partner house might once have been? If so that is lots of potential for extensions etc or even to rebuild the partner house.

If NOT I would want to know who owned it and what their plans are, THEY could rebuild it and your detached house could become a semi (again?)

The north facing garden would be a deal breaker for me.

The garden is so long and it would only take 20 steps to get out the shadow of the house.

Im not convinced it did have a twin, usually the wall just gets rendered not a nice face brick added.

I've had my eye on this house for a while, just studying the market in preparation for serious moves to buy in a couple of months' time. I like the look of it so I'm surprised it hasn't sold. I'm wondering what I'm missing. https://www.rightmove.co.uk/property-for-sale/property-78068930.html

It is WELL overpriced, run away...fast.
