Lightweight beach towels

Options
I’m fed up taking our huge beach towels on holiday. I’ve seen those lightweight silky one side light towelling the other before but can’t seem to find them anywhere. Anyone know the type I mean and know where I can but some?

TK Maxx have their Turkish towels on clearance at the moment. Very absorbent, roll up into a tiny space, dry quickly and really colourful.

We have found that Lightweight Towels are not much better than handkerchiefs.

But there might be ones we haven’t found yet.
I used to be indecisive but now I am not sure.

Turkish Peshtemals re better than beach towels. I buy mine in Turkey but there are lots available to buy online.

I bought a couple of thin beach towels from Tesco's a couple of weeks ago. I use them at the gym as it's a mixed sex changing room and needed something to fully cover between cubical and shower and didn't want to carry a bulky heavy towel home afterwards. They were on offer, 2 for £10.

ordinary microfibre trek towels are great, amazon sell them now, but I still have lifeventure ones bought in 2000.
