Living North are delighted to have teamed up with one of our favourite hotels in Yorkshire to give one lucky reader the chance to win a two-night stay at Tickton Grange. This family-run hotel is a Georgian delight, tucked away as it is between the Yorkshire Wolds, yet just three miles from the buzzing town of Beverley and 10 miles from Hull.
A handsome Georgian country house, it sits in 16 acres of English gardens, grounds and meadowland. Very much a blend of contemporary town and country, the interior is welcoming and homely. All 21 bedrooms and suites have been individually designed and all are ensuite, and our lucky winner will be able to make themselves at home in one of their two stunning suites, with beautiful views over the surrounding grounds. There’s a cosy and elegant library bar with a warming fire where lunch and afternoon tea are served, but one of the hotel’s main attractions is their Hide restaurant. This is an intimate space furnished in silks and leather where Head Chef duo Callum and James serve beautiful dishes using only the best, locally-sourced ingredients on specially designed, hand-thrown plates unique to the hotel.
Our lucky winner will be able to enjoy two nights’ bed and breakfast at this gorgeous hotel with a special early check-in to allow you to make the most of the hotel’s surrounds when you arrive. Dinner is included on one evening, together with coffee and handmade truffles.
