Hello
I am going down the path of bankruptcy in Scotland. One of my creditors is Scottish Power who supplies my electricity. Does anyone know how it will work having them as a creditor? Will I need to get a new supplier? Any advice. Thanks

If you are in southern Scotland then SP are your supplier of last resort and cannot refuse to supply you.
See here http://www.solarventus-energy.co.uk/distribution-network-operators.html
As in the 18 area.
Probably going to be a pain to convince them. You are probably best contacting the web team as they can usualy deal with the harder queries. But unless you deal with it they will block transfer so best to get on with it TBH.0 -
Not sure about Scotland but in England is makes no difference if you are BR, the old 'in debt' account is closed on the day of BR and a new account set up with a zero balance. You set up your new DD and go forward from there. I have never come across a post on this forum where the BR's energy provider has withdrawn the service?0
