Personal Trainer Qualification - How much ££ is reasonable?

My daughter is interested in getting a PT qualification & has been offered a place at a local gym where she can get the training over the summer Uni break
The cost is £1800. £900 she will work off at the gym, leaving £900 to pay - she's been offered various payment schemes. I'd be grateful if someone could let me know if this looks reasonable, or if there's an alternative way with a lower cost?
Thanks
Hera are the terms;
Total course fees: £1800
•Work Back: £900
•Pay Back: £900
The £900 you pay back can be financed in the following ways:
•Our student finance facility for between 12 months to 5 years. For example, should you apply for this option, there is a 10% deposit, followed by monthly repayments for the duration of the student finance loan (12 months, 36 months, 48 months, 60 months). A term of five years (60 months) for example, will cost around £16-20 per month, at 9.9% APR.
•Our student budget account: 20% deposit (10% considered), followed by monthly repayments for up to 9 months (12 months considered). For example, £180 deposit followed by 9 monthly payments of £80. Or there is the possibility of 12 months if needed, making the monthly payments a little lower.
•Flexible chunks: we can arrange payments in chunks, for example, 3 payments of £300. Or four payments of £200 followed by £100 to finish. The examples here are vast!
•Payment in full

That sounds reasonable to me. My friend paid £3000 for her son to do one but he couldn't make a living from it. He now works for a car showroom.0

Will your daughter be getting a recognised qualification or is it an in house training course?0

Most gyms have quite a lot of PTs so it's competitive. What course is it, does she have other qualifications useful. Is she confident she can make a living from it.Forty and fabulous, well that's what my cards say....0

I would question the benefit of a qualification that can be gained during summer holiday.
How would this make her more suitable to instruct people over thousands of other PTs out there with minimal qualifications.
Gyms love PTs because most places take a cut of the earnings. They don’t care if it’s a saturated market place.0 -
I wouldn't touch a personal trainer who gained a 'qualification' in a couple of months. Sounds like money down the drain.0
