I'm all for understanding what you buy but aren't you paying the IFA to look into the devil in the detail?0 -

The devil of the detail is that what you intend on doing (drawing part or all of the tax free cash) is allowed by flexi-access drawdown which Transact pensions offer.Need to know the devil of the detail before speaking with my IFA
At the risk of burdening you with more irrelevant historic information, what you want to do would have been no problem even in 2011. In fact it was allowed since 1995 when income drawdown was introduced. The restrictions on drawing income referred to in your moth-eaten document from 2011 only ever applied to taxable income, not the tax free cash. You have always been able to draw 100% of the full tax free lump sum in one go.0
