Byron wireless doorbell not working

Purchased today in Homebase for £10 - Byron b304 doorbell. Set the chime so it worked, but when you press the button the light comes on but the doorbell doesn't work. Luckily I haven't fixed it to the door yet.
So there is definitely power to chime and button but no interaction between them.
Has anyone else had problems with wireless doorbells?:mad:

Not got your one, but my one, from Lidl, needs the bell push paired with the bell, presumably so if your neighbour has same bell pushing their one doe not ring your bell.

My instructions told me how to do it, basically hold push in at same time as pressing button on the bell. Your one of course will differ in detail but idea will be same

For anyone else searching I just changed the batteries in our Byron DBY-22311 bell and in doing so they push seemed to stop connecting. Found the following support.chbyron.eu/en/support/solutions/articles/19000060751-bell-push-not-operating-door-chime
While the instuctions there didn't seem to be working a combination of holding the chime choice button and the volume button down paired them back together okay.
