Is it easier to negotiate a reduced payment plan if you are already in arrears or have defaults against you??

I dont know if it is easier if you have defaulted. What I found usefull was to be very bossy with them when you phone up to make a payment plan, stick to your guns and only pay what you can afford to pay to each company. Also get there sort code and account no and do a standing order to them, that way you are in charge, paying them instead of them taking the money. Again remember to stick to how much you have worked out how much you can pay per month or per week, dont let them bully you. xOfficial DFW Nerd Club - Member no. 086Proud to be dealing with my debts !Total Debt: Was £6368.84  now £945.36Sealed Pot Challenge 049 Aim £5000
