The property market is about to crash because of ....... ...... ....

I seriously burst out laughing when I read this on housepricecrash.com, "how will Boris Johnson effect house prices".
Just of the top of my head........

How will bird flu effect house prices
How will the UK riots effect house prices
How will Gordon Brown becoming PM effect house prices
How will the Arab spring effect house prices
How will the Greek crisis effect house prices
How will the Cameron led coalition effect house prices
How will Brexit effect house prices
How will BOE Carney effect house prices
How will Theresa May effect house prices
How will the banking crisis effect property prices
How will the Iraq war effect house prices....... etc etc

Sorry, have to stop somewhere, but there is hundreds of others, all clinging to the hope that "at last, the property market will crash".

It is just so sad to watch:)

Yes the UK can be a tough place to live, but there has never been a better time for a true competitive entrepreneurial climate where the best of the world are moving here in large numbers wanting to roll their sleeves up and graft.

The best strategy for buying a house is to do so right away, and get on with paying the mortgage off.

If you live in an area where you can't afford to buy anything, your best bet would previously have been to buy elsewhere, let it out, and withdraw the equity when it accumulated sufficiently to buy a place to live in. The very kind of anti-BTL measures the HPC crashtrolls have been cheering have, ironically, closed off even this avenue.

How many people will wonder how many times you can mis-use 'effect' when you mean 'affect' and not fall over?
