Car allowance calculation - employee rights

Hi,
Is my husband entitled to receive a full written breakdown of his car allowance figures from his employer? They have made incorrect adjustments to his wage in Feb & March and have admitted the mistakes. We have asked for a full breakdown of 'End of year adjustments for last year' and 'This years car allowance figures' at least three times now since February but have been ignored. Does he have a right to these under the 'Payment of Wages Act 1991' ?
Thanks

What type of 'car allowance' is it?
Could be a flat rate per month or reimbursement of mileage or combination of both.0 -
He has a three year rental agreement and he gets a monthly car allowance (which he is taxed on ) and business mileage advance each month.0

We get a set amount per grade for car allowance. No idea how the value is calculated but the yearly total is on our car agreements.0

Thanks.
They normally make an adjustment at the end of each Tax Year, based on my husbands mileage, I believe. The firm has a new accountant and this year they took an extra £1100 out of my husbands wage without advising us of this amount prior. We complained as we have a mortgage etc to pay. They then transferred the £1100 into our bank account. The following month the figures were meant to be adjusted to correct this error, and then we could refund the £1100 correction. The adjustment was made the wrong way round so my husband ended up paying too much tax and we didn't receive the full £1100. This was all meant to be corrected again in April but we can't understand the figures on the wage slip. We don't have any faith in the figures due to the previous errors, this is why we have asked for a full breakdown, which is being ignored. I just wondered if we were entitled to the breakdown under any Act? I don't want to quote an Act if it's not true. Sorry for the essay :$0
