Another vote for Monzo here. I transfer my spending money budget into it at the start of the month (for groceries, petrol, train ticket, eating out etc). Then it gets split into four pots - Week 1, Week 2 etc. So basically the same as using cash envelopes. I’ve set the app up to transfer each week’s money into my account every Saturday to use in the week.

Any unspent money I have at the end of the week I stick into surplus pot as a buffer for any weeks that turn out more expensive - though more often than not I don’t spend it and it’s transferred back to my Barclays at the end of the month to throw at the debt/pay for the following months bills.

I’ve got another pot where Monzo will put the rounded up spare change every time I spend - this goes to my emergency fund at the end of the month.

The app is very user friendly and quickly updated, so would recommend it if you don’t want to do cash.
