Shouldn't the total code for this year be 1250 (personal allowance 12500) whereas I only get a total of 1137 anyway. So reduce one to 717 & have the rest put on your sipp. I was under the impression that you can now make these changes yourself through your online tax account.
Thanks I did make some changes myself on line. They take a while to readjust and when i checked again I was completely baffled.
I phoned the help line twice over a couple of days (getting through can take nearly 45min) and was still baffled because the people I spoke to were very rushed and had no time to give me.
Thanks to Dazed and Confused I think I've got it.
