I won a competition in The Telegraph for what I thought was flights, car hire and a £500 voucher towards accommodation.

Turns out, it was £500 voucher towards a holiday that included flights and car hire. Cheapest holiday for 2 on the website is about £2000 but for my family of 4 it's closer to £4500.

It was an effort competition, so just a heads up to be careful on T&C's before putting in any effort.

I entered that too, and not until afterwards realised what a rubbish prize it was, so was glad not to win. But well done for winning a effort comp - just keep entering those with better prizes.
