Getting default date moved

I’ve been in a DMP since Feb 2014 and I’ve got 3 more payments, then I’m debt free. Woohoo!
All but one of my creditors defaulted me within eight months, so by October 2020 I will nearly be default free. However, Littlewoods didn’t default until October 2015, some 20 months after I told them I was in a DMP. I wrote to them complaining that this was contrary to FOS guidelines but they replied stating that they had investigated my complaint fully and stood by the original default date as I was paying the minimum £5 a month that they would accept.
This wasn’t true as I was only paying £2ish from the beginning of my DMP until way after the default was added. They have stated that this is their final decision. I want to write again to point out that this is incorrect, but not sure if they will have another look. Is my next step to complain to the FOS? Or is it worth trying Littlewoods again?

Anything to do with defaults is dealt with by the information commissioners office (ICO).
Littlewoods have issued their final response, so writing again would be pointless.
Your next step is to escalate to the ICO.
