Do time in Shrewsbury Prison - then see if you can escape!
Three breaks for two.
Grab a friend, pick a cell and get comfortable - you're in jail for the night! Shrewsbury Prison waved goodbye to it's last time-served offender in 2013. Now its doors are open (and then firmly closed!) to thrill-seekers looking for a stretch in the slammer.
'Prison Break' is a three-hour immersive experience packed with challenges, puzzles, helpful inmates and bothersome warders. Partaking prisoners must escape their cells, figure out how to get off their landing, then work alone or with others to find a way off the wing and make a break for freedom.
But you won't get away that easily! Following your attempted escape, you'll experience 'A Night Behind Bars' - a 12-hour overnight stay in the former category B/C prison, where you'll do the time without the crime. You can wander the wings alone or buddy up with your fellow prisoners for cell-based games.
Up for a challenge? The experience includes a 2 1/2-hour guided tour around the
reputedly haunted Victorian building - in the dark! Whether you head off in search of spirits or simply bed down in a real prison cell, it's your night so it's your choice. The licensed bar will be open for food and drinks throughout the evening.
