Just had a letter from these guys to tell me they have applied for a CCJ for a debt from 2016.
This debt was included in my bankruptcy in 2017 and they are refusing to accept that fact.
I have called and emailed, they have responded to say that they can’t find me on the bankruptcy register so they will continue with proceedings.
What can I do to stop this, I’ve worked to hard to start my cred file being repaired for them to mess it up again with this.
Please help.

You can’t just apply for a CCJ.
Have they followed civil procedure rules by sending you a letter before action ?
It’s a questionnaire type document, that you have 30 days to return to the creditor.
If they take you to court you would just defend it on the basis of what you have told us, they are full of it shoesmiths.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Debt free wannabe, Credit file and ratings, and Bankruptcy and living with it boards. Do you have proof of your bankruptcy ?
If not, it will still be showing on your credit file, take a screenshot, write to shoesmiths, remind them that bankruptcy is an all encompassing solution so any qualifying debts at the time of your bankruptcy we’re included, including this one.
Then invite them to waste their money taking you to court for a debt that no longer exists.
Inform them you will counter sue them, for their inability to understand plain English and for peeing you off.
They are a bunch of utter cretins whom I have dealt with on a few occasions.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Debt free wannabe, Credit file and ratings, and Bankruptcy and living with it boards. Shocking considering they are such a big firm and are generally considered pretty elite. Only communicate with them in writing and if they try to contact you via phone, insist they contact you in writing.0

Shows how inadequate they are, you only stay on the register for 3 months after you are discharged, your details are then removed.
Stay off the phone to them, do everything in writing only from now on.
You should never speak to there call handlers, they only know what their screen tells them, half truths and mis-Information abound.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Debt free wannabe, Credit file and ratings, and Bankruptcy and living with it boards. Okay, I will write to them with a copy of my bankruptcy cert, send recorded and explain that any continued action from them I will consider as harassment?!Just a single mum, working full time, bit of a nutcase, but mostly sensible, wanting to be Mortgage free by 2035 or less!0

Don't waste your time. Just feed them the paperwork. If they do raise a claim, the allocating judge will likely strike it out.
Most of these volume solicitors use automated processes mainly because
a) people get frightened a pay monies they need not and
b) others fall foul of the court system and pay monies they need not.
Is it legal? Yes. Is it honest? Unlikely. Is it profitable for them? Definitely.
Just manage the paperwork and it will die a death.Unlike some here, I am not omniscient. If I am wrong correct me. I won't take offence.

If I was the Judge, I would be pretty cross with Shoesmiths for trying to obtain a judgement.0
