Credit file cleanup questions

Hi,

I am 5 years post bankruptcy now and have looked at my credit file to see that 2 of the closed accounts have been updated by the lenders, one to May and one June for some reason. All the other closed accounts are within a few weeks of my bankruptcy date which is fine.

My issue with this is that I have no idea what my account numbers for those were, or, how I would find them out.

The lenders are Blackhorse (loan) and Landmark mortgages - my mortgage was with northern rock - for some reason it’s always been landmark since my bankruptcy.

Can anyone please advise on how I would get this resolved.

You should be able to write to blackboard and Landmark with your name, address, DOB and address if different when you took the products out. They should be able to trace you so you may not need the reference numbers.

What have they updated your file to say/show?

The updated dates for both of them have changed to this year while all of the other accounts are showing the dates from around my bankruptcy date.

Thanks for the advice, I will write to them over the weekend, any particular department?

I would just write to the complaints department, Google it and you will find the addresses
