Advice re: pension (self employed)

Hello

Myself and my husband are directors of a limited company and I need to look into a pension for both of us - we don't have any employees (apart from ourselves) is there a guide to pensions for people in our position please, or alternative ways of saving for retirement?

You have a very wide choice of pension providers - if unsure you could always take independent financial advice.

You would tick "confirmed independent" and such other specialisms as required.

Prism

Its very flexible in your situation. You can contribute as little or much (up to 40k each) per year into a pension, direct from the company. This has the effect of reducing corporation tax in that year.

I use Youinvest as my provider but there are many other choices. Just check that the provider supports payments direct from limited companies.
