Early mortgage renewal?

I have read that you can apply for a mortgage with some providers and they will honour your rate for up to 6 months.
Ours is due for renewal in January and I'm noticing current rates are lower than what we have (we fixed for 3 years).
Just wondering if anyone knows of any banks/building societies that will allow us to apply this far ahead, in case of a rate rise later this year?

You can try a broker and see which ones suit you"It is prudent when shopping for something important, not to limit yourself to Pound land/Estate Agents"

You’re a little early, most lender offers are valid for 3 to 6 months.
No harm in getting the ball rolling soon, but you don’t want an offer that is going to expire before your old rate comes to an end.I am a Mortgage AdviserYou should note that this site doesn't check my status as a mortgage adviser, so you need to take my word for it.
