Debt Consolidation services

In February 2018, I met with a car accident in which I had a broken collarbone, cracked rib and a burst fracture in my spine. I required surgery and a back brace to be worn for 6 months following surgery and bed rest. It was a tough recovery, with a lot of sleepless nights. My parents had both passed away when I was in school, so I had to make everything happened in my life alone after their death. I had a ton of credit card debt and nobody knew it. And now I had become bankrupt. Heard there are debt consolidation services who could assist me to overcome this and I am in hunt for a trusted one to be debt free? Thank You

Hi and welcome to the forum :)

I recommend the CAB, StepChange, Payplan or National Debtline. All of these organisations will provide you with a free and professional service.

If ever you need further encouragement, guidance or support, then please feel free to return to MSE with any questions you may have. :)

If you are currently bankrupt, why are you considering consolidation?

Or do you mean you are considering going bankrupt?

Debt consolidation services - this means that whoeveritis wants to give you or find you a loan at astronomical interest rates to clear all your debt with and probably also charge you a fortune in fees for finding/giving you the loan.

Not reccomended as it will just most likely increase your debt and leave you in a far worse mess than you are currently in.

Can you clarify your current debt situation, your post is unclear, are you contemplating bankruptcy or consolidation as an option ?

A bit unclear but if your bankrupt there's no need for help from a debt charity.

Your not looking for Debt consolidation services but a debt charity eg like those mentioned.
