Does anyone know birmingham coach station

Options
I'm going to blackpool in a few weeks with national express but the tickets don't say where the pick up point is at birmingham coach station so I contacted national express and they told me to find out when I arrive but who do I see as I've never been to birmingham coach station before.

There are several coach stands - look for the boards in the station.

OP - Birmingham Coach Station is very similar in principle to a railway station or airport - the platform (or stand as its called in a Coach Station) is often not determined until shortly before departure.

I don't travel by train or fly so I don't know how they work. I thought if they did the same journey everyday they would have a dedicated stand.

Apologies, by 'pick up point' I thought you meant the machines to collect your ticket.

The stands can change because they have lots of services running through the station and they need to keep things flexible in case of delays etc.

It may be that services tend to end up using the same stands each day but it could always change, so the correct plan is to arrive in plenty of time and look for your service on the screen which will tell you which stand it's coming into.
