Accidentally overpaid
So I had a very stupid moment!!!! I had a new loan come through (I bank with nationwide, and the loan was also with nationwide) and they set up an account in my homepage where you can view the loan and make additional payments. The money came through within the hour .... all good.... and I then went to move the money into my savings and accidentally ended up putting it back into the loan account !!!!! so I basically paid the loan back to them they just sent me DOH!!!!
I called instantly and they said couldn’t stop the transaction and to call the loan department (closed at the time) in the morning and they should be able to refund it but panicking and not sure what to say to them if they refuse to refund it.
I’m hoping because it’s from one nationwide to another nationwide account that they will do it but biting my nails waiting till tomorrow!!!!

I would hope that they will understand and reverse the transaction,
Failing that, I guess you will need to apply to them again for a new loan.0 -
