When you get back, save up so that you can pay for your next holiday without having to pay in instalments, and don't forget to take out holiday insurance - you never know what the future might throw at you!

    Enjoy the holiday.

Laying to go to Turkey while refusing to pay your Tomlin order doesn’t seem the most sensible route to take.

Can you not try putting your long-term interests higher up in importance than a cheap beach holiday?

Its not a cheap holiday Dave.

Sensible planning will mean I will not be paying for it when we return. Great Golf courses.

It has to be questionable, allowing for your earlier posts bragging about how little of your 100k debt you paid, whether "you" are paying for this holiday at all, I'd suggest? To be honest I feel rather sorry for the creditor you are having over by paying £5 a month towards the debt you owe them (and which you initially thought you'd not bother to pay at all, until others on this forum convinced you that wasn't a good plan.

    I wasn’t boasting, merely stating a fact.

Not going to lie it is a relief to have roughly 4K sat on my credit file that will come off in a couple of years.

I have no intention of borrowing any more money so the credit file thing shouldn’t bother me, just want it cleared.

The next time someone posts on these forums "why are banks quoting me such a high APR for a loan", instead of explaining how they build risk and default ratios into their profit models, I'm instead going to request they read HonmaDP's posts for an explanation.

I'm genuinely hoping you're a troll as it would upset me that someone would have such a warped attitude towards borrowing money.

I'm afraid this doesn't come across as true at all - mostly people post on here for help with debt - pretty much every single post of yours relates to how much of it you're looking to get away with. Until this one of course, which instead boasted about the expensive holiday you've just paid for, using money that should have gone to paying your tax bill and other debts. Don't forget to run up a nice overdraft that you never intend to pay back to cover your holiday spending money, will you...

    I’m sensing hostility EH.

Did you not read my last post, I’m a DFW and have no intention of running up any more debt.

We are staying at the Sueno Deluxe, it’s an AI resort so will need very little spending money. My salary will pay for the 5 rounds of Golf I have planned.
