If whole legs are cheaper than half legs buy a whole leg & cut it in half with a hacksaw & freeze one half.
Obviously clean the hacksaw blade first !!

Better still, fillet it, you get three roasting joints from a leg of lamb0 -
Always remember, if you buy meat with a bone in it, including chops, wash the meat before cooking otherwise you can get shards of bone in your food which will not be good to eat and can also rupture your guts if unlucky.
I find little bits of bone particles and sometimes shaves of pointy bone in my basin after washing the meat - better that than injesting it.
I find Asda lamb very nice and also cheaper too BTW.0
