Any experience with adverse credit history and obtaining a mortgage with Barclays

so saying this then, having a ccj or a default which will fall off within less than 12 months is good to go to apply for mortgages?0

I had two defaults, five years old, and my mortgage was approved by Barclays in January.
But....as a straight forward case, FTB, it took them three and a half months from application to offer. Some of that was due to my brokers error but a lot was due to how slowly Barclays moved at each stage and they had to be chased a lot!0 -

They were around 6k in total but had been settled for a while prior to applying.1
