Pimp that snack

DS aged 7, already an OS chap anyway, inspired by www.pimpthatsnack.co.uk wanted to make his own mega version of a traditional snack. I found this was an excellent way of passing a rainy day, as the site encourages you to show pics of the process, recipe, costings etc. sorry I have no pic yet it is on DH's phone.
DS made THE DOUGHNUT OF DOOM - a mega sized jam doughnut, weighing in at 600g, approx 1lb 4oz

It is also good for ideas for birthday cakes, e.g. the giant jaffa cake or the mega party ring

I just love it, my next project I think will be a supersize onion Bhaji:D

The doughnut cooked all the way through and there was enough for all 5 of us to have 2 portions each. We had one piece last night topped off by the 'do not lick your lips' contest.
I do have simple pleasures, one of my fave pimped snacks is the 'cheese and pineapple on a stick' made with a whole pineapple and a large block of cheese:)
spose you could go festive and do a big mince pie or sausage roll.Member no.1 of the 'I'm not in a clique' group :rotfl:
