Before I start asking serious questions can a person working with a very low income become bankrupt because of the extent of there debts.
Mainly HP Credit cards and Loans??

Yes you can, you will still have to find the fees for BR though...although depending on your circumstances you might be allowed a reduction, once you decide if & only if BR is your answer the forms you need to fill in will ask how you managed to get debts & what you've tried to do Any input gratefully received
What you must do first of all is contact one of the free non profit charity debt helplines listed in my sig below...meantime anything else feel free to post & someone will help asap

If you have an unserviceable level of debt then it would appear that BR may be an option, especially if you have no or few assets.
But you MUST take professional advice from one of the free advice agencies as you will be asked this should you decide to proceed.
