Any tips on buying a Sofa from DFS? Possible to negotiate?

Hi all

In True money-saving style I am here to ask you lot for some tips on getting a discount on buying a sofa from DFS. We have already visited the store and to be honest we have seen the sofa we want. With the chairs and sofas the cost of the whole thing is around £3,500. We have no problem with this cost and we are convinced it is a good deal because this is the sofa that we want. However I just thought I would check here to see if you guys have any tips or hints on getting a discount on this sofa? Maybe somebody reading this is an ex employee of DFS and has tips how we can save some money? Maybe somebody has been successful in the past negotiating a deal with DFS?

I would be happy to hear any hints or tips

Thanks all.

Hi We rang the online ordering & negotiated a free seat cushion (we ordered one similar to Bloom Pillow Back 4 Seater Lounger but wanted to use as a regular sofa too) a free set of eaziglide & free delivery. We tried in store but got nowhere.
We had a problem with a couple of the scatter cushions about 6 weeks after delivery but DFS sent out a man who fixed them.
