New job during bankruptcy

Morning all!

I had the wonderful news that I have been offered a new job but I am still in my bankruptcy (will be discharged in August)

My salary will be exactly the same. Will I need to let my OR know? My outgoings will be pretty much the same too. Just maybe a bit less spent on petrol. Will I need to call him and go through it all again?

Didn't really want to speak to my OR as they weren't the most pleasant person to deal with. Been super anxious about talking to them!

Not sure if you're on a no tax code or not but I was under the impression if you change jobs during bankruptcy you go onto a normal tax code. If you have an income tax IPA this may be affected.

I’ve got a normal tax code. Paid no tax for a few months but recently gone back to paying it

Of course, sorry - because it was the new financial year only recently. No problems then!
