Arrangement fee

I found this site and it got me thinking, about 5 years ago I added £5k onto my mortgage with Northern Rock (I know that goes against all principles of this website but with that £5k I added £20k onto the value of my house and promptly sold it)
At the time I was charged £299 arrangement fee for this. Can I claim this back? I am now with another mortgage company, does that make a difference?
I found info on this site to get the initial mortgage arrangement fees back but nothing on a mortgage change fee.
Thanks

I don't think you will be able to claim this back. It's only the penalty fees which were legally questionable.0
