EasyShift

Has anyone had any experience and/or issues with the EasyShift app?
I downloaded it a few weeks ago after seeing it in an MSE article, and have completed 3 or 4 shifts (it tells you which store to go to, you take photos of specific displays, then submit them and get paid £6-9 for the shift). In the FAQ it does mention what to do if asked to leave the store, & says after 3+ of these you won't get paid, which I (perhaps naively) assumed was to safeguard them against rude or obnoxious people offending the stores whilst doing a shift.
Well today in Boots I had numerous questions from the Assistant Manager who had never heard of EasyShift & says they do not have permission for this sort of mystery shopping activity or photograph taking instore. Boots do have reps who come in for such tasks, but they have company ID, sign in etc. The AM was perfectly pleasant to me, but the whole thing left quite a bad taste in my mouth, and I don't want to continue doing shifts if EasyShift are not above board.
Many thanks

Hi,
Sorry to ask a question here but how many 'Shifts' do they have on the site, is it worth while?0
