Really ................ the other day I posted asking for someone to pick me up off the floor - I got my quartetly BT bill - £220 - so shocked so I called them to ask them to send a personalised bill - I'm just reading it now . ....... I think I must speak more to my husband when he is at work than when I actually see him .................

I was round a friends earlier and I told her that by 7.30 the other morning i had made 4 phone calls ........... one to my husband on his mobile - one to my mum - one to my sister - all to tell them that my son who was very ill at the time (he's 2) - he insisted on having an ice cream for breakfast for his 'hurting throat' then the 4th call was to the gym creche to cancel his place that morning ................ I am lethal with the phone.

Our cost of calls was £150 and line charge and VAT was an extra £70 - daylight robbery

Dont want to wee on anyones chips but we've been getting broadband from Pipex for the last 2 years and have had a fair amount of trouble. Cheap yes, customer service leave a LOT to be desired!

You're probably wondering why we're still with them - well, we moved house and they took 90 quid out of our account to transfer broadband to new house. We were really really skint at the time and the only way we could get it back was to sign up with them again. It took them 7 MONTHS to pay it back!!!

Anyho, if cheap is the name of the game then i guess they are winners!

Pipex are now owned by Tiscali I believe. I have been with Tiscali for 3 years they are pretty reasonable in prices but terrible at Customer Service, I would not recommned them to anyone anymore in fact come the new year we will be moving back to BT.

Also the level of spam I get email wise Tiscali must sell there emails addresses out, I have some that I wouldn't want any children to see only small pictures but its not the point. Years ago with BT I never got any spam, Tiscalis answer if you complain pay for anti virus through them, but that is not the answer at all!

Got my phone bill today £17.58 for month from Talk Talk free broadband, free evening weekend calls, I'm at work all day so suits me, custumer service is ok once you get passed the india call center (ask to be put through to cancelations and your back in Blighty and they're pretty good, second line techs are very good) better than BT
