Cart D'or icecream 23p per tub at Asda.

Asda are currently selling Cart D'or icecream (all varieties) for £2.54 each or two for £3.

If you take along a Morrisons flyer which has Cart D'or icecream as buy one get one free offer, then asda will knock off another £2.54.

Hence two tubs for 46p..... 23p per tub

I've already brought 4 tubs...may go back today for more

Sorry for sounding dumb, but could somebody explain how this works please? I thought that Asda only had to honour the price Morrisons were offering it for ie £2.55 for 2? Thanks, and sorry for the ignorance!

When you buy two tubs they will scan through at £2.54 each but then because asda have an offer of 2 for £3 the till will automaticaly knock off £2.08.

Then when you show the Morrisons flyer they should knock another £2.54 off.....
    hence
    £2.54 + 2.54 - £2.08(Asda offer) = £3
    - £2.54(Morrison offer - bogof)
    = 46p for 2

    I hope that helps.

Trust me to get the person on the till who has only been there for two days!! He didn't know how to price match & the superviser was called. As she showed him what to do eagle eyes noticed the extra discount show up on the till & shouted your not getting them for that price!! :(
Now thanks to Tommix & Queen Bear, now Lady Westy of Woodpecker :)

unfortunately it didn't work for me either as there was a newbie on my till as well but instead of calling the supervisor she scanned only one of the tubs so the price came up as £2.55 for both:eek:

Always remember to show your flyer at the end so that they scan both the tubs which will take into account the Asda offer.

and then hopefully when you produce the flyer they will knock off the price for one tub hence both discounts will apply.

Didn't work for me either the till operator just recalculated so I got two for the same price as Morrisons and I did hand in the flyer at the end. Ah well!
