How much does access to credit determine whether mortgage providers decide to lend to you?
My 2yr fixed mortgage rate will run out in December 2019. The full loan amount was for £81,250 and by the end of the fix should be about £63,000. My credit card provider has just notified an increase of my credit limit from £3,000 to £9,000. I have three days to decline this. Monthly salary after tax/other deductions is about £1,450. What should I do?

as long as you pay your balances on time and don't utilise all your credit availability that would be fine and have no bearing. it is debt that will impact your lenders"It is prudent when shopping for something important, not to limit yourself to Pound land/Estate Agents"
