Are you writing this all down in a notebook and totting it up on a daily basis? Also, have you set yourself a budget for this type of spending? Just writing it down will show you where your money is going, but it will give you discipline if you set a budget and stick to it. So if it's Wednesday and your buget runs from Friday and the money's nearly all gone, then you know you will have to be really careful until you get your next lot of money on Friday. :cool:

hiya ceegee, I am writing my spending down! I do not have a 'budget' yet...I will do next month. BUT I have cut back dramatically, by checking my store cupboard/freezer for food before I go shopping. Not buying magazines & general !!!!!!!I am taking it one step at a time so this month am cutting right back & next month will set a budget & see if what I set it at (food for instance) is viable!

Looks like you are doing very well! I cut up my cc's last July, best thing I did. Also stopped impulse buys. Now only 30 months to debt free day! :j
