WH Smith Money Off Coupons (+ Clubcard)

I would have loved to buy the new Jordan book for my sister as a mothers day present from my neice as she is a single mum.
Its half price at the moment in whs at £9.49, so am i right in thinking they wouldn't accept the voucher even if i added a very cheap book to make the spend upto £10?

Looking at my voucher, it seems to be 1 voucher per book, and not a combination of books. Isn't it annoying? Maybe ask a member of staff?

The book has to cost £10 or more .... they don't accept vouchers for books that cost £9.99 (been there, tried it, didn't work ....)
