    Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, chocolate in one hand, champagne in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming ~ WOO HOO what a ride!

  • It was a Deal of the Day so just a 24hr offer. No harm in asking good luck to you :cool:

    Shame I missed this.
    How do you find out the Deal of the Day please?
    Thank you.
    :heart: Ageing is a privilege not everyone gets.
  • Well I only knew about it because of a thread about it on another forum, but they had prominent ad on their homepage while it was on.

    It says suitable for children aged 12 and over on the packaging. I've bought one for my lad who's 5.

    Am wondering whether they're dangerous in any way, or whether they just hvae that age guidline as older kids know bettewr than to swing the trhing around near the Royal Doulton stauettes. (not that we've got any!!)
    ::Quidco.com - £1100 in 11 months. Kerr-ching! ::
  • I bought one for my son who won't be 5 until January. Personally I think he'll be fine with it BUT as parents will know all children are different. I know boys of 9 that I wouldn't trust with one. If they are the kind that will go mental with a standard plastic sword then I'd say give this a miss because it's much bigger and heavier (er... and more expensive) than your avarage toy sword/lightsaber... they could have those mantlepieces and shelves cleared of all breakables in no time :)

    Hi. Does anyone know how long that offer was on for and if it will be coming back online again? And does anyone know how you can contact play.com customer services to possibly request one of them lightsabers @ £24.99?

    Did you ever manage to do that?? And does anyone have a number for them as I can't find one?? I ordered a Yoda one and it has arrived as Darth Vader?
